Questions
What this makes, what it does not, and what each lane costs.
Questions
Is this a 3D scanner?
No, and the difference matters. A scan measures an object from many angles. Single-image reconstruction infers a plausible shape from one view, so the back of the object is a guess. We target "image to 3d model" and never "3d scan", and every model page states which it is.
What can I do with no GPU?
The whole parametric lane: pick a shape, set its dimensions, download a real printable STL. It runs on CPU, needs no account, and is not queued.
What is the poly count I see?
It is read from the exported file after any decimation, not from the generator’s settings before it. If a number cannot be computed, the page says so rather than printing a plausible default.
Can I use my own API key?
Yes, and it is free when you do. The generation engine has a bring-your-own-key lane that is never metered; our environment key is the one that costs.
Is my model public?
No. Everything you generate is private to you by default and appears in the gallery only if you publish it. A hosted site’s files are world-readable, so nothing of yours is written where one could serve it.
