What costs money, and what does not

CPU is cheap and GPU is not, and the price follows that rather than the feature list.

Free, with no account

Every parametric shape, at any dimensions, downloaded as a real STL. Plus three generated previews a day where a generator is reachable.

Forge — $19 a month

Downloading the MESH from a generated model, a hundred generations a month, full resolution, batch and an API key. It is included with Pro and Unlimited, so nobody on a Leumas plan buys it twice.

Your own key is always free

Point a cloud generator at your own API key and we never meter it. We charge for our compute, not for yours.

Questions

Why is Forge the same price as Splat?

Because they are the same shape of product on the same kind of hardware for the same buyer. Two 3D services on one platform at two different prices would need an explanation neither has.

Am I charged for a generation that fails?

No. A queued job reserves its cost before it runs and releases it if it does not produce a file, and a charged-but-failed generation is a number we surface deliberately because it is the one a refund conversation needs.
